Patricia J. Coty Bowe, age 47, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side after a ten year courageous battle with cancer. Born in Syracuse to James and Mary Lou Coty, Patti grew up in LaFayette and graduated in 1981 from LaFayette High School. Patti attended BOCES, Onondaga Community College and Syracuse University, she obtained her pre-school CDA in January 2007 and worked with pre-school children since 2004. Patti was involved in her community and volunteered with C. Grant Grimshaw School, LaFayette Alliance Church, LaFayette Apple Festival, LaFayette Outreach, Loretto and SDC. Patti is survived by her husband of 26 years, William of LaFayette; her parents, James and Mary Lou Coty of LaFayette; her sisters, Karen Miller of Fayetteville, Donna Coty (John Engelken) of Apulia Station and Jennifer Coty of LaFayette; in laws Bivian Coty of Cortland, Bob(Debbie) Bowe of Canastota, Patty(Mike) Martin of Baldwinsville; four nephews, Matthew(Corinne) Miller, Michael Miller, Sean Martin and Brian Martin. Patti was predeceased by her sister Kristen and brother, James. Calling Hours for Patti will be held at Alliance church in LaFayette, Thursday, August 19th, 2 to 5pm with Mass at 5 PM and gathering for all to follow.
