John A. "Bud" Nostrant Obituary

John A."Bud" Nostrant, 83 of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home Sunday. Bud was a communicant of The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus He was employed 46 years at New Process Gear. Bud was a Navy Veteran of WWII and served on the USS J.Franklin Bell and USS Mercy. Bud is predeceased by his wife , Mary E. Nostrant 1985. He is survived by his daughters; Donna (Ron) Scammell of Cazenovia and Kelly (Rick) Foster of Fairport, NY; grandchildren, Melissa Szymanoski and Ryan (Stephanie) Scammell; Zach, Nate and Cory Foster; great grandson, Ethan Szymanoski; sisters, Carol Alexander and Marilyn (Dick) O'Brien; brother, Richard (Ruth) Nostrant. Calling Hours: Wednesday 4 to 7pm at Hollis Funeral Home. Funeral Services: Thursday 9:30 AM at Hollis Funeral Home and 10:30 AM in The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
