May 28, 2010 Cecilia Gerka Haas 88 of Syracuse passed away Friday. Cecilia retired from Chappell's in 1970, she was also formerly employed at Dawes Drugs, Eastwood and MONY. Cecilia was past president and secretary of the PACC Women's Bowling League, member of the Polish American Legion Ladies Auxiliary #1650. Cecilia loved her pet cockatiels and her dogs, she enjoyed gardening, baking, the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees. Cecilia was predeceased by her husband John in 1977. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn (Richard) Podejko, several nieces and nephews. Private Funeral Services with Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
