January 31, 2013 Helen Wrobel Zamojski Born in Syracuse, New York on August 29th,1925. Helen went to join her family and friends in heaven on January 31, 2013 after a long illness. Helen dedicated herself to raising her family with a passion for cooking and baking. She was a home heath aid who was loved by all her clients. Helen was a teaching assistant at St. Cecilia’s School and a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She and her husband enjoyed polka dancing and for many years traveled all over the country attending dances. Helen is survived by her husband Zig of 66 years, daughters Sandy(Art) Witz and Dianne(Paul) Minieri and son Ron(Marie) Zamojski. She had 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandsons, 4 great grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren. Calling Hours: Tuesday 4 to 7PM Hollis Funeral Home 1105 West Genesee Street Syracuse.
