April 13, 2010 Dorothy J. Zarach, 88 of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy retired 1987 from Onondaga County Clerk's Office after 16 years employment, prior to that, she was employed at Sacred Heart Cafeteria and Syracuse China. Dorothy was a communicant of The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, member of Sacred Heart Mother's Club, Rosary Society, Villa Maria Club, Sacred Heart Seniors, Den Mother Cub Scout Troop 76 at Sacred Heart, Sacred Heart and Westside Seniors. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Alphonse 1969 and was the last of the Jocz Family Siblings.Dorothy is survived by her children, Nancy Zarach, Karen(Chuck) Schneider, David Zarach, Teresa(Mark) McVea; 13 grandchildren, Amy, Kristen, Kara, Mary Beth Todeschini, Christopher, Katie, Kevin, Craig Schneider, Joshua, Allison, Nicole Zarach, Jessica and Brittany McVea, and her cherished nieces and nephews.
