April 5, 2010 John C. Wojcik, 77 of Syracuse, passed away Monday. John was a communicant of The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. He was formerly employed Carrier Corporation. John served in The U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1952 - 1956. John is survived by his wife Barbara, on August 22, 2009 they celebrated 50 years of marriage. John is also survived by son, John F.(Kathleen) Wojcik and daughter, Sharon(Dan) Loguidice; grandchildren, Christina(George) Apple, Michael(Andrea Mathews) Loguidice, Jillian(Justin Stach) Harris, Jennifer Wojcik, Michelle Harris, John S. Wojcik and T.J. Harris; great grandchildren, JoHanna, Alyssa and Daphne Apple. Calling hours: Friday 4 to 7pm at Hollis Funeral Home. Funeral Services: Saturday 9 AM Hollis Funeral Home and 10 AM in The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. Burial with Military Honors will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland.
