Obituary of Stella Kowalewski Kushin

January 12, 2008 Stella Kowalewski Kushin, 75 of Syracuse, passed away Saturday January 12th, 2008. Stella was a life long resident of Syracuse and communicant of The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. Stella retired from New York Telephone. She was a very active member of the Syracuse Polish community and belonged to many of its organizations, clubs and societies. Her husband Edmund C. Kushin predeceases Stella. She is survived by her children, Lynn Browne, John (Tina) Kushin, Cheryl Visconti, Kevin Kushin, Liane Marks and David Kushin, all of Syracuse, Beloved Babci to 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother, Edward (Josephine) Kowalewski Several nieces and nephews also survive Stella. Calling Hours: Tuesday 4 to 7 pm at Hollis Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 9 AM at Hollis Funeral Home and 10 AM in The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. Burial: Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Cemetery, Amboy.
