January 7, 2008 Conrad L. Wise, 76 of Syracuse passed away Monday. Conrad was born on July 12th, 1931 in Syracuse to Conrad and Anna LaManche Wise. Conrad was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes and served as a Eucharistic Minister, Visitation Committee member and Usher’s Club. Conrad was formerly the manager of The Waldorf Cafeteria. Conrad loved to cook, sing, garage sales and country music and most of all he loved his grandchildren. He was U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. Conrad is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth Schwenderman Wise and his daughters; Susan(Brian) Smacher and Patricia Wise Pendzik of Rochester; grandchildren, Sara and Jenny Smacher , Kelsey and Katie Pendzik; brother, Richard Wise. Burial with Military Honors in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
