November 5, 2009 Mary Rypski, 94 of Syracuse passed away, Thursday at Manatawny Manor Nursing Home in Pottstown, PA. Born in Syracuse, she was a life resident until her move in 2002 to Pennsylvania to be with her daughter, Louise. In 1980, she retired from the Onondaga County Health Department. She was a communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and was an active member of the Symfonia Choral Society, Civil Service Employees Assoc., Polish Legion of American Veterans Auxiliary, Chapter 14, Sacred Heart Seniors and Rosary Society. In 1959, her husband, Louis Rypski, predeceased Mary. Mary is survived by her daughter, Louise (Joseph Sr.) Coco of Gilbertsville, PA; granddaughter, Marialena and grandson, Joseph (Wendy) Coco, Jr. Calling Hours: Friday 5 to 7PM at Hollis Funeral Home. Funeral Services: Saturday 8 AM at Hollis Funeral Home and 9 AM in The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes.
