Obituary of Jane J. DeJohn

January 25, 2013 Jane J. (Madziuk) De John, 83, of Solvay, passed away on January 25, 2013. She grew up in Syracuse and resided in Solvay. She attended Sacred Heart School and later received a license in Cosmetology from LePonto's Hairstyling and Beauty Culture School. Jane retired from the Solvay School District in 2002. She was a former member and Head Regent at Syracuse Moose Lodge. She enjoyed spending time in the Adirondacks, cooking for her family and had a loving appreciation for her pets. She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all of those who knew her.She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Frank D. De John Sr. in 1995. She is survived by three children, Frank D. De John Jr. of Manlius, Deborah DeJohn Dingillo of California, and Mark. J. De John of Solvay. Seven grandchildren, Christine De John, Stephanie Forth, Kimberly Atwater, Laura Fawcett, Amy De John, Michael Destazio and Steven Destazio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 10AM in St. Cecilia’s Church Solvay Burial: Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse
