November 4, 2009 Veronica Stanko, 100 of Greenport, LI and formerly of Syracuse passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Veronica was a communicant of The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was formerly employed in the children’s department of Flahs and had also been employed at Schraffts. Veronica was predeceased by her husband, Stephen and her son Robert, a Vietnam Veteran, who passed away in May 1981. Veronica is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Ray) Weeks of Wading River, NY and 2 grand daughters, Alison (Ryan) Jackson, Jennifer (John) Keane and 5 great grandchildren, brother, Edward (Mary) Kwasigroch. Visitation: Wednesday 9 to 10 AM Funeral Services: Wednesday 10:30 AM in The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes
