November 8, 2009 Rose Kucinski Block, 83 of South Onondaga passed away Sunday. Rose was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church, South Onondaga. She was formerly employed at Hotel Syracuse Coffee Shop and was a banquet waitress for the Hotel Syracuse. Her husband James predeceased Rose in 1995. She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Jim Coffey) VanLeuvan, Fritz (Geraldine) Block of Virginia Beach, Richard (Denise) Block, Cheryl Grome, Diane (Wayne) Sturick, Michele Buza, James (Patti) Block of Virginia Beach, Brian (Pamela) Block, 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Fritz (Barbara) Kucinski and Floyd Kucinski. Calling Hours: Thursday 4 to 7pm at Hollis Funeral Home. Funeral Services: Friday 8:30 AM Hollis Funeral Home and 10 AM in Corpus Christi Church, South Onondaga. Burial: St. Patrick’s Church, Otisco.
