Such a special person has left us with inspiration and wonderful memories. Many of my experiences with Lorraine are related to the many years we spent together at the United Church of Fayetteville. Her constant positive presence brought light to so many of the church activities. Lorraine was a warm, kind, thoughtful, and energetic force in so many ways. Her musical gifts brought so much beauty to the church, and her curious mind led her to explore new ways of thinking about her beliefs. Lorraine's deep concern for the church was always evident. We're all poorer without her presence in this world.

Lorraine was a presence and present, always. I have such fond memories of her from my years in Syracuse. The women of the morning book group at the United Church of Fayetteville were wonderful mentors, helping me grow in many ways. No doubt you will all find comfort in warm memories of Lorraine's life. She will certainly shake up heaven!
