Obituary of James Robert Dwyer

April 16, 2016 James Robert Dwyer, 63, died April 16 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse NY. He was a graduate of Westhill High School and had a career in sales for several leading national corporations. He was predeceased by his father Thomas and brother Michael. He is survived by his mother Elna Dwyer of Onondaga Hill, a daughter Marie Griswold of San Antonio, TX, son James of LosAngeles, CA and their mother Marie (Bunny) Kimball, Camillus, NY. He is also survived by three grandchildren Tyler, Kelsey and Hunter Griswold also of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by brothers Thomas (Lucia), Marietta, NY; John (Karen), Syracuse, NY; Daniel (Beth), Golden, CO; Kevin, New York City; and William (Joannie), Poughkeepsie, NY as well as sisters Sharon (Thomas) Peters, Fultondale, AL; Anne Griffo, Syracuse; Mary (Robert) Honis, Syracuse; Colleen (John) Dwyer Bonura, Chittenango; and Kathleen (Steven) Schill, East Syracuse. Memorial Services are scheduled for St. Michael's & St. Peter's Church on Onondaga Hill, Friday, April 22 at 11 am. The family has requested any donations be made in James' memory to Syracuse Behavioral Healthcare at http://www.sbh.org/donate/.
