Obituary of Julia E. Zdep

Please share a memory of Julia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
April 11, 2016 Julia E Zdep 87 of Syracuse passed away unexpectedly Monday April 11th Julia was a communicant of Sacred Heart Basilica and member of The Altar and Rosary Society. Julia took great pride in raising her five daughters and at times her husband. She also enjoyed a career at Pass and Seymour, EZ Tupperware Distributors, and GNC. Julia is pre deceased by her daughters Barbara Zdep Melton and Catherine Zdep Matson. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 wonderful years Julian, and their daughters Marianne Collins, Christine (Joe) Breglia, Tricia (Paul) Mortellaro and five exceptional grandchildren, Sean Collins, Serena and Tim Matson, Rosalie and Grace Mortellaro. She was an avid reader, and a JUMBLE wiz. She loved to “pun”ish with her puns and was undeniably the most clever and formidable scrabble player (the undisputed queen). We all learned our wordsmithing strategy from one of the best. Mom was an environmentalist and naturalist before her time. She lovingly kept the local birds well-fed throughout our long cold winters, and gladly anticipated the arrival of the first spring robins. Mom will be missed. We love you dear Julie. Kindly make donations to Francis House, 108 Micheals Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208
