Obituary of Joseph Stanley Dymczyk

February 15, 2016 Joseph Stanley Dymczyk 93, passed away Monday at the VA Medical Center. He was a member of Transfiguration Church. Joe worked on the NYCRR 10 Years and The Hotel Syracuse 30 years in the Maintenance Dept.. Joe severed with the United States Army in WWII in the Philippines and New Guinea, He was awarded The Purple Heart plus other Medals for his service to his country. Joe also served in the CCC after High School. Joe is predeceased by his father Stanley, mother Mary; sisters, Helen, Ann and Bertha. Joe loved his family and sacrificed life to take care of His Sister Bertha after his Parents died. He also was passionate about his dogs, Duke, Shorty and Lady. May He Rest in Peace. Joe is survived by his close friends, Barbara Omicinski and Fritz Kucinski. Funeral Services: Friday 1PM Hollis Funeral Home 1105 West Genesee St Syracuse. Burial with Honors : Veterans Memorial Cemetery Syracuse.
