Obituary of Joseph Michael Chrissley

November 13, 2015 Joseph Michael Mike Chrissley of Liverpool passed peacefully after a long illness at Veterans Hospital. Mike was born in Syracuse and grew up in Lyncourt, he graduated from Syracuse Central Technical High School. Mike was a Navy Veteran and served aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt during the Vietnam War. He worked many years for East Syracuse Chevrolet, DW Clark Road Equipment and retired in 2003 from the NYS Department of Transportation. Mike volunteered as an usher at the John H. Mulroy Civic Center Theaters. He also volunteered for the North Area Meals on Wheels. Mike was a member of Cicero United Methodist Church. He was predeceased by his parents, Wallace and Grace Vollmer Chrissley and is survived by his brother, Irving Chrissley (JoAnn) and many nieces and nephews. Private services at the convenience of the family.
