Dear Clark Family,
My very best wishes to you and yours. It sounds like it was a long haul and
I'm sure hard on you all. But as Christopher Robin had said to Pooh: (and what I'm sure Chuck would say to you)
If there is ever a tomorrow
When we are not together
There is something you must remember:
You are braver than you believe
And stronger than you seem
And smarter than you think
But the most important thing is
"I'll always be with you"

Charlie and I attended Blessed Sacrament School together. He was a great kid and a good man. We crossed paths a couple of times throughout the years.
Travel well, Charlie.

Dear Clark family, I am so sorry for your loss. It feels to me much too early for Chuckie to leave this planet but everything has its time, or so we tell ourselves. "Chuckie" is the name I called your brother and father when he walked me to kindergarten and first grade from my home in Eastwood to Blessed Sacrament school. My mother hired him to do that even though Sharon and Sheila, who were in my class, were walking to school too. Chuckie was always so lovely to me and I felt safe with him by my side. I remember him exactly as the photo shows him in his obituary--very calm and peaceful. I have you all in my thoughts. Big hugs, Jackye

Dear Family
Charles was the only deciple I hadn´t met in the Bahamas when everybody else was there. Including Francis.
The reason for that was unbestowed to me until I met Charles for the first time I visited all O´y´all homes in Eastwood, Syracuse, NY
He would bring his world famous beans to the table to celebrate wearing ae conversa stars&striped shirt on that 4th of July 2010.
I shall always recommend him for those and think even fonder of all the conversations we had after. Alaas over the telephone the recent years.
I shall never forget my friend and uncle Charles. We shared a lot that other people never will!
Maybe they can someday.
Good bye Charles, I will always remember your witness & intellecuality!
Love always
Philip
-and as he liked to say sometimes-
"May God bless Germany"
(whilst I was meaning him)
