Dear Steve,
I am so sorry to hear the passing of Pat. As a member of the Lincoln Ladies group, we had great gatherings/socials during her years at Lincoln and she continued to be part of the group while she was at Henninger. We had coffee at each other's house each month. We always look forward to Pat's hosting during Xmas season. She would have your house decorated and the center piece was the tree laden with hundreds of Xmas ornaments. Food was also beyond description. We continued this too even while she was sick. I always think of you and Pat and I say a prayer for her all those years. You have been such a loving caring husband, you did all you can for her care and comfort. She is resting now and in the best place. She was loved by so many people and through her teaching she has left a legacy that will live forever in the hearts of those students she taught. So sorry to hear of your loss. I taught with Pat for many years at Henninger. She was a wonderful person whom I enjoyed knowing. She was loved by her students because she respected them and cared about them. She had a very giving heart and if I recall correctly she was bearing Christmas gifts just before she became ill. I've thought of her often through the years. She is at peace now. God bless her and may God Bless you for the love and care you have given her throughout the years.
