Obituary of Ruth Ann Kesel

December 19, 2012 Ruth Ann Kesel, 57, of Syracuse passed away peaceably Wednesday evening after an illness. She was born in Phillipsburg, NJ and spent her childhood in Newton, NJ; where she was raised by Geneva and Karl Karlson.Ruth graduated Newton High School in 1973. She had a keen interest inart and history, and she was also skilled in floristry and sewing. Shespent most of her time devoted to her family. She was a parishioner ofWestminster Presbyterian Church, where she served as both deacon and elder; taught Sunday School, participated in the choir, trained acolytes and volunteered at their food pantry.Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Albert “Al” Kesel in October of this year. She is survived by her son Albert “AJ” Kesel; brother, Timothy Current of Port Richey, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews.
