Obituary of Sheila R. Thompson

August 8, 2015 Sheila R. Thompson, 72, passed away August 8, 2015 at Van Duyn Center. She grew up in Kennebunk, ME, and lived for many years in Ellington, CT, before moving to the Syracuse, NY, area. She was a teacher, small business owner, master knitter, and fantastic baker. She was predeceased by her husband, Allen P. Thompson, in 1998. Sheila is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and James Thompson of Minoa, NY, and her son, Jeffrey Thompson of California. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Samuel and Sigourney Thompson. There will be no calling hours. A private burial will be held in Ellington, CT.
