Obituary of Barbara Maczonis

July 3, 2015 Barbara Maczonis 85, a resident of Lakeland for 52 years, passed away Friday July 3rd. Barbara was born in Syracuse on November 22, 1929 to her parents Herbert and Evelyn Kane . Barbara was a graduate of Central High School. She was formerly employed New York Telephone and was a Town of Geddes crossing Guard for 13 years. Barbara was a communicant of The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus and a member of Sacred Heart Mother’s Club, Orchard Lake , Rosary Society, Sacred Heart Parish Council, Sacred Heart Seniors and was a very dedicated worker preparing the Polish Food at the Sacred Heart Festival. Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Casimer; parents Herbert and Evelyn Kane; sister, Helen Cleveland; brother, Herbert Kane . She is survived by 2 sons; John (Linda) and David (Michele) Maczonis; 2 grandchildren; Aaron(Janelle) Maczonis and Megan (Matthew) Brown; several nieces , nephews and cousins.
