I met Ron and his wife at Banner Hospital next to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, Az. a year ago this past Feb. in 2014 after knowing him only as a listener from his radio show. I recognized him immediately. My husband was there being treated for CLL. The nurse told me that someone from Syr, was in the next room and maybe I'd like to check it out. I did. Unfortunately, my husband passed away here in Oswego last Dec. after extensive treatment.
We were from Oswego and had a great visit about businesses here that Ron and his wife knew about and frequented.
I send my sincere sympathy to Ron's wife and his entire family. He certainly lived a great and full life....and gave so much to so many.

I worked with Ron in the mid-80's, first at WSEN. then at WKFM. He was an enjoyable man, loved what he did, and was kind to all who met him. He spoke well of his colleagues and listeners, and would give anyone the shirt off his back. I look back fondly on him as one of my mentor's in radio. He will be missed.

I was a good friend of Fran Bee in high school. I remember her big brother Ron very well. We all loved him when he was on WOLF and listened to him every day.
I have lost touch with Fran but wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to her and her family. I remember seeing the Bee clan at mass at St. Rose ever Sunday when we were growing up. The were a good family and had wonderful values. God Bless!

Rest in peace dear friend, Ron Bee. You are now out of pain and discomfort after your courageous battle. We only knew you for a short time but, we watched you bravely attempt the bone marrow transplant instead of giving in to the leukemia like a warrior with your devoted wife Tina who was always by your side. You, Tina and Jonathan will always be part our Seattle BMTU family.

So thankful to see that my sister, Dottie, and I were included in this obituary; as we were not included in the Post Standard one as surviving family members - which implies we are no longer living.
My sister and I were in loving sibling relationships with our brother, Ron Bee, for 60+ years and we miss him too!

As you know Tina and Jon, Toni and I will be out of town for 2 weeks during which your visit here happens! We wanted to be here but had this planned for a long time! Tina, you know how I felt about Ron!He was my adopted brother - if not for real but in my heart! One of the best things that happened to me was meeting him at your house! We struck it off and became close in so many ways as did the whole Bee family! We enjoyed so many good times together ,both sad but mostly happy ! he will forever hold a special place in my heart! Peace be with you both! Love from the Mundstocks!

Ron was one of the strongest go-to voices I used when I needed an announcer for one of my client's radio spots. He set the standard for how I wanted my radio commercials to sound.

Was so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. For so many years we would listen to him (and Becky) on B104.7. Great personalities only come alone once in awhile & Ron surely was one of the greatest. Again our sympathy to the family.
