David M. Halpern Obituary

June 8, 2009

Rest with your dream in my dream.

Love and pain and work all sleep, now.

The night, the world, the wind have spun out their destiny.

David's heart and mind, too big to be contained any longer in one earthly vessel, has been unshackled and set free to play in eternity. David Michael Halpern, born March 23, 1948, has gone on to the glory he lived and knew. He has left behind his beloved mother, Naomi Halpern, his two loved sons Daniel Halpern and Michael Halpern and love of his life, Pam McNew. David has worked at IBM Research, has a First Class FCC license, a Masters Degree in Information Studies, and Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University Law School where he was also on Law Review. He also worked for a short time in Vista in the City of Syracuse. David's unparalled gift as both a pianist and guitarist were gathered from the universe and flowed through his loving fingertips. David left an indelible mark of truth, wisdom, passion and unconditional love with all who knew him.
