August 4, 1928-March 22, 2015 John Reidy, Sr. passed peacefully from this world, surrounded by his family, Sunday, March 22, 2015. John was born in Syracuse, New York and resided in Baldwinsville, NY for nearly 60 years. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and a US Army combat veteran of the Korean War. John retired from Allied Chemical Corp in 1986. He was a member of several veterans groups, including the Tin Can Sailors and K.W.V.A. and also served on the Onondaga County Veterans Council. Mr Reidy is survived by his wife of 59 years , Dorothy, four children; John of South Granby, NY, Sharon (Rick) Snider of Baldwinsville, Dorothy (John) Campanella of Baldwinsville and James (Ellen) Reidy of Grayson, Ga. Eight adoring grandchildren and 6 loving great-grandchildren. The family has chosen to hold a celebration of remembrance at a later date
