Marlena Pointer born 02-17-1979 passed away 12-21-2024 at the young age of 45. Born in Fort Myers Florida, she lived out her days here in Syracuse for 20 years. Over the past 13 years she dedicated herself climbing up the ladder at Home Depot while taking care of her family. She is survived by her daughters; Marina and Terri. Along with two grandchildren; Massai and Talia, her sisters, brother and parents. Her death was sudden and unexpected leaving behind many broken hearts. She was loved and deeply cared for by all who knew her. Marlena was not only a mother and grandmother but, a friend, mentor and leader in her own right. As we say our goodbyes we carry in our hearts precious memories of our time with her. Until we meet in the next life.
