Janet Buchanan Mascitelli, age 85, passed away on December 20, 2024. Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of Janet and William Mascitelli.Our Mom was and incredible homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking and decorating.  She sewed everything from bathing suits to wedding gowns!  She crocheted, knitted and quilted. Janet later became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and retired from a medical facility in Pinehurst, NC, Janet was predeceased by her children, Janet McBride, William McBride and Dorie Brown and by her granddaughter Jennifer McBride. Janet is survived by her children, Penney McBride Garcia, John (Karen) Brown and Nanci and Jeen Brown. She's also survived my several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Her children would like to thank our niece, Elizabeth McBride for staying by her Grandmother's bedside and for making her last days so much sweeter.
