Bob Goodrich, age 84, of Lakeland, NY passed away on November 11 th  at St. Joseph’s Hospital

surrounded by family. He was born on December 24th,1939, in Wallingford, CT.

Bob married the love of his life, Barbara Dembowski in Syracuse, NY at Sacred Heart Church in

1961. They were happily married for 62 years.

He was employed at General Electric in Syracuse, and Varian Corporation as a field service

engineer. Bob selflessly enlisted in the United States Coast Guard Reserve in 1960.

He was the proud father of Karen Grabowski (Camillus, NY), Kathy Petersen and husband

Kevin Bell (Holly Springs, NC), Ron Goodrich and wife Amie (Knoxville, TN), and Patti Robinson

and husband Mark (Parker, CO). He had six grandchildren and 52 nieces/nephews, with whom

he loved to share his many memories and stories.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Mary, siblings Edwin, Harold, John, Frank,

Quentin, Roy, Richard, Mary, Jean, Alice, Irene, and Dorothy.

He is survived by his brother Mark and sister Kathleen.

Calling hours will be at Hollis Funeral Home in Syracuse, NY on Friday, November 15 th from

4:00 – 6:00 PM.
