Eugene Francis Luteran, 74, passed away on Tuesday, October 15th at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse, NY.
He was the husband of Maryjean (Hawalka) Luteran for 35 years until her passing in 2012.
He later remarried in 2013 to Michelle Dumas.Born in Syracuse, N.Y.,  He was the son of Edward and Eleanor (Kwasigroch) Luteran.
Eugene graduated from Central Tech High School in 1968. He was employed by various Telephone Companies and later on employed by New Venture Gear, where he was a machinist which kick-started an early retirement.
He was a member of the VFW and the Tredz Car Club of CNY where he won an award for the 1st Annual Car Show in 2007 for having the “Best Mopar.” He enjoyed “snacking”, watching drag racing, attending car shows and racing his classic car.
He is survived by his estranged second wife, Michelle. His only brother Edward (Dee) his three children Michael, Megan (Shaun) and Michelle. He has 9 grandchildren and one great-grandson, Greyson.
During the past few years he had the privilege of living out the rest of his time with the help of his caregivers, his daughter Megan and his granddaughter Brooke. Along with an exceptional thank you to Christy for her help and guidance.
