Obituary of Celestine Marie Hall

Celestine Hall of Cortland, NY passed away on July 15, 2024. She was born February 13, 1960, in Syracuse, NY to James and Mary O’Hern. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Jeffrey Hall and her two children, Travis Hall and Chelsea Kaminski of Cortland, NY and granddaughter, Eve Kaminski.

Celest graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1978 and married Jeff in 1981 at St Rose of Lima Church in North Syracuse. They moved to a hilltop south of Cortland and started their fruit farm. While working on the farm and raising two children, she attended college at SUNY Cortland, obtaining her master’s degree in Elementary Education, graduating Cum Laude. She worked for the Cortland City School District for many years, retiring in 2019. Celest and Jeff traveled extensively their entire marriage, forging so many memories of Europe, the Caribbean and all 50 states. There is nothing we wish we had done, because we did it all and so much more than we could have even dreamed of during our first years together.

She will be missed, but she will be in our hearts forever. Our love for her is eternal.
