I remember Mike as one of the senior captains on a football team. I had just joined, a junior in a new school for me. Meeting new people in a small school of tight cliques and long standing friendships. I was small and had only pop warner football experience, but as most of us knew and remembered Mike, he never made me feel like I didn’t belong. I’ll remember him as someone I looked up to those days, and a kind person.

Mike was the funniest and sweetest guy in my department at NPG . My favorite memories were Mike “singing” (really screaming) the song Lady by Styx to get our truck driver to get more stock. She was always pretty serious until he started singing to get her attention, then she would bust out laughing. Every time I hear that song I smile and picture Mike singing at the top of his lungs . He often spoke about his family and how much he loved them. Praying for you all, God gained a good one.
