Julio J. Huertas 41 and lifetime resident of Syracuse’s west side passed away on April 27th, 2024. Julio also known by JJ or Jay is finally reunited with “my Peggy”

JJ loved to fish especially with his father Julio. Going out on the boat brought him much joy. He had a love for music especially Prince and Labyrinth. Video games with his son put a smile on his face and many laughs. Warm teddy bear hugs, from his daughters would warm his heart. Although he loved Dutch nothing compared to his love for his family and friends. His true best friend and more than a cousin was Juan. Juan and JJ were inseparable. Where you saw one the other was soon to follow.

Julio leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Julio Kilbourn; daughter, Sophia Huertas, bonus daughter, Nani Vulcans; paternal grandmother, Francisca Navarro; father, Julio L. Huertas, Angelica Cepeda - Huertas. Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Julio is pre deceased by his mother Margaret Kelly. “My Peggy”
