James Joseph Keene, 62, of Syracuse, NY passed away on March 20th, 2024, in Syracuse, NY at Francis House.

There is no calling hours at this time. Burial will be at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.

James was born in Syracuse NY to Raymond Keene and Antoinette Catalano-Keene on September 12, 1961.  He worked at Penny Curtiss bakery for over 20 years. He enjoyed sports and was a fan of Boston Red Sox baseball, Dallas Cowboys football, and Boston Bruins hockey. He also enjoyed listening to 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s music.

James is survived by his children Andrew (Kim) Keene, Christine Keene (Kyle Naughton), Autumn Keene, Amber Keene, James Keene. James is also survived by his two brothers Sam Keene and Michael Keene. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren. James is preceded in death by his wife Deborah J. Keene who passed away in August of 2007, and his parents Raymond Keene and Antoinette Keene.
