November 25, 2012 Gabrielle Marie Victoria Lemire, 94 of Syracuse passed away November 25th at St Camillus with her son and daughter-in-law at her side. Gabrielle was born May 24th, 1918 in Alfred Ontario Canada. It was a family of 14 children. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Julien, four years ago. Gabrielle is survived by her son; Charles (Kathleen) Lemire; grandchildren; Brandon, Brent, Jesse, Chris and Kim; sisters; Germain, age 98, Wilfreda age 100. Gabrielle was a communicant of Most Holy Rosary Church. She was a registered nurse from 1948 until her retirement in 1983. Gabrielle was an avid swimmer, loved taking “power walks”, had a passion for cooking and was known to put on a feast for any occasion. Funeral Services: Friday 10 AM Most Holy Rosary Church.
