Obituary of Michael Shick

Michael “Mike” Shick passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital, surrounded by his close friends and family. 

Mike was a fun loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He took great pride in his career at Syracuse University, where he made many friends and had a positive impact on those around him. He loved to travel, always finding new places to eat and explore. He enjoyed buying and fixing collector cars, swimming in the hot summers, playing games with any challenger, and had a great sense of adventure. We will remember his contagious laugh and youthful spirit. He was fearless by nature and strong, even in the most challenging times. 

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Chan Shick and sister, Margie Spagnoletti. Mike is survived by his mother, Carmen Shick, and niece, Keisha Spagnoletti.
