Rosie as we all knew her was our sweet cousin, our uncle Floyd’s only daughter. She was a bit older than me but we were a close family as my mom and her dad, siblings, always looked after each other! She grew up in the house our parents were born and raised in and I loved going over there as my uncle was a beautiful furniture maker with an immaculate workshop with the smells of wood and refinishing products but he never finished the inside of their home. So my sister and I would go up their unfinished stairs to Rosie’s bedroom with the fear of falling as there was no handrail and things were pretty rustic, very old house but nothing ever phased Rosie or Aunt Lucy, her mom! Rosie always went with the flow and I believe she did that with her own family. She was a true fighter, never a quitter shown in these past 3 years! You will be missed. Rest In Peace dear cousin.

My dear cousin Rosie will be truly missed. My Uncle Floyd was my mothers brother and lived in the house my mom was born in. I spent a lot of time visiting there and even though Rosie was 6 years older than me she always looked after my sister and I when we were there. I was very honored to be asked to be her Maid of Honor at the wedding, she was very special to me. So glad I was there to celebrate your 50th anniversary. Rest in Peace dear cousin, you will be truly missed.

I have so many memories of Rose. Anytime I would visit she was always busy with girl scouts or brownies or helping her grandchildren as they were growing up. She was funny, witty and very crafty with a heart of gold. She was well loved and she'll always be remembered. She touched so many people lives. You will truly be missed.

Rosie is what we always called our dear cousin ever since my sister and I were little. It was a honor that Rosie picked me to be her Maid of Honor at there wedding. Spent many times at Uncle Floyds house growing up. She will truly be missed.
