William J Bardenett, 99, passed away on November 16, 2023 at St Joe’s Hospital. Born in Olean, NY, he was the son of Dennis and Henreitta Bardenett.  He attended Christian Brothers Academy and St Bonaventure College.  Bill was employed for many years at Strathmore Paints where he managed the North Syracuse store.  Bill was especially proud of his service in the U S Air Force during World War II.  He enlisted the day he turned 18, leaving high school, and served in the south pacific for three years.  He is predeceased by wife, Ann, sharing 69 years of marriage, and son Joseph.  He is survived by children Patricia of Chicago, John (Margaret) of Syracuse, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  A memorial mass will be held on December 27, at 10am, at Most Holy Rosary Church Chapel.
