Alex R Carruthers, 66 years old, passed away on September 19th at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.

Born in Syracuse ,NY to Theresa and Ray Carruthers on October 6, 1956.

He was a graduate of Liverpool High School. 

He was employed as operations manager at Carruthers Movers, Inc. for over 20 years before moving to Rome and becoming manager at Fastrac Markets until he retired.

He is survived by his son, Ray Carruthers and his sister, Kathy Kalish (Mike) as well as several cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ray & Theresa Carruthers and his sister, Suzanne Daniel.

Visitation will be held at Hollis Funeral Home in Syracuse on October 26th
