Thomas J. Marzynski, 86, of Geddes, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 4 at Francis House. He was a man of unwavering faith and lived his life with that faith. 

Thomas was born in Syracuse, NY to Thomas P & Sally Marzynski on December 2, 1936.  He married Joanne Kowal Marzynski on September 10, 1960 in Syracuse, N.Y. Thomas graduated from LeMoyne College and afterwards worked for the Carrier Corporation for 40 years until his retirement.  He was a member of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, where he volunteered for decades. Thomas was in the Marine Corps Reserve, proud of his Polish Heritage, loved spending time with his family and dogs. 

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Joanne. He is survived by his children Thomas P.(Dana) Marzynski, Christina(Ron) Duppert, Thaddeus(Kathleen) Marzynski, Carolyn(Ted) Quinn, Michelle(Larry) Slosberg; 10 Grandchildren; Thomas G(Stacey), Jennifer, Ronald(Nikki), Stefania, Katherine, Mary, Alexis, Kaylee, Erin and Clarisse; sister, Karen Marzynski, cousin Carol Ann, and other family members.  

The family of Thomas wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Battaglia,  Dr. Sauer and PA'a Stephen Senenko and Alyssa Miles for taking such good care of Dad for many years, and to the Francis House for the compassionate care they showed him during his final days.
