Carroll J. Courteaux passed away on August 13,2023 at the age of 50 in his home in Syracuse. He was the former husband of Cassandra Courteaux.

He was born in Houma, Louisiana to his parents Linda and Ivy Courteaux. Carroll graduated from HL Bourgeois in 1991 and went on to join the Navy. He was employed by Lowe’s as a retail worker at the time of his passing.

Carroll enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time. He was also an avid football watcher with his favorite team being the New Orleans Saints. He made sure to watch every game.

He is survived by his daughter, Katelyn Courteaux, sons Donovan Courteaux and Carroll Courteaux Jr.(C.J.), his sisters, Edith Courteaux, Kimberly Courteaux Prevost, and Pamela Courteaux Evans, brother Ivy Courteaux III, his parents, Linda and Ivy Courteaux, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Adele Courteaux Schultz and biological father, Carroll Hebert.

The services will be held on 1:00PM,Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 4069 Howlett Hill Rd. Syracuse NY, 13215.
