Obituary of Mary Rose De Angelo
Our Mother, MaryRose De Angelo passed away peacefully at her home in Camillus on May 29th, 2023 at the age of 88. MaryRose was born on March 5th,1935 in Syracuse and was the daughter to Mary Ann Klimek Korzeniewski and Eugene Korzeniewski. She attended Sacred Heart School as a child and graduated from nursing school at Saint Joseph's Hospital in 1973. MaryRose was a dedicated, loving nurse who worked at Saint Joseph's Family Clinic for 34 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Basilica and was married to Richard De Angelo for 19 years. MaryRose will be remembered for her kind and loving nature. What she valued most in her lifetime was being a caring person. She always had time to listen and would always have kind and encouraging words for everyone. She valued hard work and determination and was dedicated and hard working her entire life. A lifelong resident of Syracuse; Mom was a great Syracuse Basketball fan and always looked forward to every basketball season. She loved to cook and was a talented writer who enjoyed creative writing and loved to send encouraging letters to everyone she cared about. Mom was a loving Mother who gave us a lifetime of beautiful and wonderful memories.
MaryRose is survived by her Sister, Virginia Majka of Camillus; her Children, Michael and Lisa De Angelo, and our Korzeniewski family members. MaryRose is predeceased by her Mother Mary Ann Klimek Korzeniewski, Father Eugene, Brothers Uncle Stanley, and Uncle Michael, and Adolf Korzeniewski, her son Mark De Angelo, and her beloved Grandson Joshua Pryor.
