Carl Michael Miedaner, 61, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2023 at Crouse Hospital with his family by his side after a short illness. Carl was born in Syracuse, NY on May 14, 1961 to Donald and Miyo Miedaner. Carl enjoyed many activities including hockey, playing guitar and spending time with his children. He was a graduate of Hobart College and achieved an MBA from Duke University. He was recently employed by Syracuse University and previously worked in the financial industry for over 20 years. He held positions at Swiss Bank, Citibank, Statestreet and the Boston Options Exchange. Carl was predeceased by his mother, Miyo Miedaner. He is survived by his 3 children Nicholas, Peter and Emma, his father Donald, his brother Anthony (Cheryl), Michelle Miedaner and his nieces. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
