August 23, 2014 Rosemarie (Zelazny) Ranger, 81, of Camillus, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014. She was born in Syracuse, where she was a resident for most of her life. She was preceded by her husband Albert F. Ranger in 1971, and her parents Walter J. Zelazny in 1988 and Sophie Zelazny in 2002. Rosemarie was an Air Force veteran, as well as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed bowling, playing cards and board games, rooting for Syracuse University’s football and basketball teams, and spending time with her family. Rosemarie is survived by her children Katherine Almonte, Walter (Laura) Ranger, and John Ranger, of Syracuse, NY; Martha (Donald) Stratton, of Oklahoma; and Barbara (Gregory) Dunlap, of New Jersey; her sister Dorothy (Fred) Carranti, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
