Obituary of Lisa Jo McIntosh

Lisa Jo (Heselden) McIntosh, 48, passed away on December 25, 2022. Born in Syracuse, Lisa was the daughter of Nancy (Ferrara) Heselden. She graduated from Henninger High School and Cazenovia College. Lisa was a dedicated employee and faithfully served patients at Upstate Medical University as an admissions clerk in the PAS Department.

Lisa was a proud and devoted mother who loved to celebrate each day with her family. In addition to regular holidays, her joy of life showed up in such “events” as wearing a homemade hat on Derby Day, dressing up as an animal for a visit to the zoo, searching for pirate treasure at local parks, starting spontaneous dance parties and adding glitter and sprinkles to everything.

Lisa is survived by her mother, her daughter, Gabrielle, her siblings, Ann Marie Straight (Peter), David Heselden and William Warren Heselden IV (Theresa) and 6 nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Ignatius and Mary Ferrara.

A funeral mass will be held on January 6, 2023 at 1pm at Holy Family Church in Syracuse.
