Obituary of Linda Lou Griffo

Linda L. Griffo, 77, of Solvay, NY, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.

Linda was born and raised on Wellesley Island, NY, daughter of the late Ernest and Violet Slate. She was a research librarian at Allied Chemical and then a travel agent at Fairmount Travel for many years.  

Linda was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Gregory, in 2018.  She is survived by her son, Ernie (Teri) Griffo; daughter, Lori (Nick) Bove; Grandchildren, Erica, Katrina and Courtney Griffo, Jonathan (Kelly) and Cassi McCrum, Victoria, Nicholas and Maria Bove; Great Grandchildren, Jackson, Henry, Milena and Sean; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private.

The family would like to thank the wonderful Doctors and Nurses at both Upstate Hospitals for taking such good care of Linda while she was there.
