Debbie Sue Murtha (Pluarde). 63, passed away from her battle with Cancer on Monday, October 17, 2022

Born in and lifelong resident of Syracuse, NY, Debbie was the daughter of Helen Clark and Irwin Smith

Debbie had been a long time Home Health Aide where she formed bonds with both her clients and their families

Debbie, amongst many things, enjoyed going on trips to the Adirondacks, attending the yearly St Patty's Day parade, doing her Word Search puzzles, attending holiday dinners w/ her family, doting on her many grandchildren, and spending as much time with her children as possible

Debbie will be known for her kind heart, always leaving the door open for her extended family, her love for her children and grandchildren, and for her wit and humor

Debbie is survived by her 6 children; Susan, Robert III, and Adam Murtha, Kevin Brooker, Ashley Sutton, Kimberly Pluarde, her grandchildren, her long time partner Jay, her sister and brother and many nieces and nephews

Debbie is predeceased by her sister Annie, mother Helen, and father Irwin

A Celebration of Life event will be held for her on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the VFW Mattydale, 2000 Lemoyne Ave, Syracuse NY 13208
