Helen T. Banaszek Caban, born on December 8, 1927, one of 9 siblings born to Polish immigrants in Wilkes Barre, PA.

Helen was an avid bowler who loved to travel with the GE Electronettes, and was a talented knitter, creating pieces for friends and family. She also received several awards for ceramics.

Helen was predeceased in death in 2004 by her beloved husband of 55 years, Walter. She is survived by her daughters Linda (Ron) Szatanek, Vickie (Devon) Terry and Ellie (Jim) Reed, as well as two brothers, Edward and Hank.

She had unbounding love for her grandchildren- Becky, Alex, Aaron, Andy, Jimmy, Sarah and April who will dearly miss her.  She was also blessed with  6 great grandchildren-Elizabeth, Sydney, Liliana, Wallace, Luka and Adrienne.
