Kathy,Amanda,Alexis and Kesa.
Although our time was cut short. I am forever grateful that we were able to share the memories together that I will hold on to forever. Growing up we were all considered the Kolonko family. Picnics all summer short vacations trips up to Black Lake. Paul’s obsession with Elvis was very enlightening. Sometimes I thought Paul even sounded better. We did lose track for a while when you moved away. But I am very thankful we connected again.
I promised Kathy we would go to Olive Garden when she felt up to it. Maybe we can make it happen before the big move. I will be looking forward to coming to you all for a visit to Georgia.I will let you know when I get an echo so we can play Yahtzee again. Love to all. Rest In Peace Paul

Dear Kathy, Amanda and Alexis
It is times like this that words seem so lacking . I am truly deeply saddened at the loss of one of my best buds. As you know, Paul and I saw each other quite often. Since our days a Niagara we have been friend and brother to each other. Spending time such as going to casinos or going to high school wrestling matches watching my grandson Brock do his thing. We had loads of fun and I believe things will never be the same. I will miss him terribly. Thanks Paul for always making us laugh and for always caring. Someday we will again be throwing them bones trying to make those hard eights. Love you always. Jimmie Del AKA Lead guitar player DI4

As a classmate of Paul at Niagara I'm very sad to hear of his passing. Though he was never "famous" in the usual sense, he was well-known among his classmates because of his humor which was always there. He made us laugh so many times over the years, Paul just made you feel good to be around him. He loved basketball and we often played "pick up" ball together (with Jimmy Del and others).
I appreciate and am grateful for his years of military service and thank him for that. Although I never got to meet his children, I know that being Paul's children, they share his humor and patriotism. Our Elvis has left the building. We'll miss him, but his humor was so strong, he'll continue to make me smile when I think of him and our times at Niagara.

Dear Kathy, Alexis and Amanda,
My name is Dennis DeLuccia, Class of '71 at NU. Paul, or as we knew him, Kissy, was one of the Clet Hall gang in our freshman year. I was one of the few that had a record player and the day he came down to my room with an Elvis album was the beginning of forming the Drive In Four. I think we actually went to a drive in theater one night and came up with the name. We had Rico(Paul, Elvis singer extraordinaire), Biggy(our awesome guitar player), then Chico(me) and Giggy( Bob Giglia) as back up singers. Paul insisted we have stage names so we made them rhyme.
Our freshman year featured the opening of the first ever Rathskellar on campus( basement of our dorm). Paul orchestrated that the DI4 would make their first live appearance in front of a packed house. Paul was belting our Teddy Bear, Don't be Cruel and several others we had practiced. What a night! We also played at the Sunday afternoon Social Lions beer blast while the Krax band took a break. Again, we killed em,
Fast forward to the Spring of 1971, 100 days until graduation, and Paul again put together the reunion of the DI4 at of course, a Social Lions party. We all looked a little different, but Paul's Elvis voice, might have been better. Then 45 years later, Paul gets 20 or so of our classmates at Turning Stone and we have a 45th year DI4 reunion. Not as big an audience, but they were being entertained by a true showman. Paul can now stroll down the hall again and maybe just happen to run into his idol.
He was a great guy who cared and cherished his NU experience. The get togethers at Turning Stone were classic and we thank him for spearheading those.
Our prayers are with you guys but we know how STRONG all of you are and we know where that comes from.
Take care, Chico BU singer DI4.

Kathy, Amanda and Alexis, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Paul. He loved you all and cared about everyone that passed through his life. He was so proud of the undefeated little league team we had at Geddes, especially Alexis' play every week! We'll all miss Paul but I'll remember him most for his love of the players and the zest he had for the kids and coaches. He was a great guy and I'm so happy he passed through my life. May you find peace at this difficult time and you will all be in my prayers.
