I worked with Jim at Van Duyn. He worked on my floor and knew my residents well. He had an unmistakable voice and used it to encourage everyone around him including residents and co-workers. He was great guy. Debbie, I am so sorry for your loss. I know Jim loved you so much. Hugs to you. May God give you comfort in the days, weeks, and years to come.

We are so sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. We had the opportunity to get to know him through Camillus Youth Hockey. Jimmy coached our boys and shared with them his love of hockey. He was so good with all the kids and it was evident he cared for each and every one of them. The years we shared hockey with Jimmy are full of wonderful memories. Know that he made an impact on the lives of many kids.

Growing up I always remember Jimmy as a positive, happy person. It seems that he carried this throughout his life. I am sorry to hear of his passing.... Patrick OHara He was a couple years older than me but I played against him in the Summer league at Shove Park. I was a goalie at the time. Scored on me 2X’s. It was hard as a goalie because he could place the ball right at your ankles. The third time I came out of the cage and plowed him. After helping him get back up (I felt like an ass) he says : I can’t blame you. I would have done the same.

I am so sorry to hear of Jimmy’s passing. His father and my mother, Irene Krupinski CONTOS, were first cousins. When we were kids, I remember both families getting together. There were kids all over the place. Unfortunately, life took the families in different directions. I often ran into Jimmy when I worked at the sheriff’s office. He was always a pleasure to chat with. Debbie and all of Jim's family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jims passing. I knew him from school and worked with him at Van Duyn. He was a good kind man that we all could take lessons from. He was great to work with at Van Duyn -the patients loved him and he was so good to all the patients. I enjoyed seeing Jimmy every day ,he always had a smile and a kind word for every one. I am truly sorry for your loss-please know I will always remember him as a good ,kind soul
