Obituary of Thelma Lambert

Thelma Lambert, 61, went to dance with her savior on May 5, 2022 after a brief battle with breast cancer. Thelma was born to Richard and Leona Gogan on December 26, 1960. After attending Kellyville High School, Mrs. Lambert earned her Bachelors in Accounting and Business.

Thelma will be remembered by her family and friends as a woman of great faith. She loved studying her bible, ministry, and worshiping her savior. She valued hard work, honesty, and most of all, family. She will forever be remembered for her energy, kindness, and selflessness.

Thelma is survived by her loving husband, Richard Lambert of 20 years. They were married in Syracuse, NY on September 29, 2001.

Thelma will be in the hearts of her children, daughter Katrina Smith and husband Russell, son Caleb Longley and wife Amanda, daughter Emily O’Reilly and husband K.J., son Drew Lambert, and daughter Hillary Smith and husband Joshua. She will be remembered by her sister Amy Fulks and numerous nieces and nephews.

She leaves behind the grandchildren she adored, Kaleb, Russell Jr., Jevan, Jaxon, Kailee, Cadence, Ryan, Oliver, and Wesley.

Thelma’s celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. at her favorite place, the River located at 57 Hilton Rd., Phoenix, NY 13135. We ask that to honor her, please come dressed in either white or colors.

In lieu of flowers, please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers and share your favorite memory of her.
